Jeanie Marie Buss has been an American Entrepreneur for more than 20 years. She is the owner and director of Los Angeles Lakers National Basketball Association. Buss was born in California and grew up as part of a rich family. Jerry Buss was her father. Jerry Buss started out as a realty tycoon, after which he later became the owner of the Lakers. When her parents broke up in 1972 she felt that they'd abandoned her. At the age 19 she became the general manager for the Los Angeles Strings, a professional tennis club. In the following years, she created the Los Angeles Blades roller hockey professional team. In the beginning, she was vice-president for the Lakers before she assumed the presidency of the Great Western Forum. Buss and her five sisters were heirs to his Lakers control following the passing of Buss' father in 2013. Every sister was given equal rights. Buss assumed the role as the president of the Los Angeles Lakers. Buss has also been a owner of a portion of Women of Wrestling (a Los Angeles-based pro-wrestling association).
